Career : Career Techniques Many people have turned to NLP to see if it can help them sell more, or at least build up rapports more easily with potential clients, and try to influence sales rates in that manner. The bottom line is that if you try to pace, mirror and match the body language of the other person that you are talking to (try and do this subtely!) then this is supposed to help them feel comfortable around you and add to the rapport that may be built up between you both.
