How To Reduce Chances Of Bowling Injury

Sport : Cricket

One major cause of injuries in bowlers is actually with regard the follow through - or lack of it. Too many bowlers stop too abruptly which puts unneccesary stress on their joints - and over time this builds up and can make you much more injury prone.

Therefore ensure that you always have a good run off, but of course make sure that you make sure that you take yourself off the pitch rather than running down the middle of the strip.

A good follow through also helps with your overall action - though remember that you check for the ball coming back at you and any caught and bowled opportunity!
