How To Remember DNA Base Pair Bonding

Education : Biology

In DNA, base pairs always bond in the same partnership.

Adenine always pairs with Thymine
Guanine always pairs with Cytosine

It is important to see this as significant: it is because the pairing off is always the same that enables DNA to make exact copies of itself.

It's easy to remember: if it's not where it's AT, then it must be GC!
