How To Remove Acrylic Nails

Beauty : Hands And Feet

Sit at the table and cover it with newspaper and a plastic bag to avoid spillages. Get out all of the things you need, then use some nail clippers to cut the nails down to as short as possible, to make removal a lot easier.

Fill a bowl with nail polish remover and apply a coat of petroleum jelly to the skin around your nails to stop it from drying out. Don’t get any on the nails though.

Dip your fingers into the bowl of remover and soak for 15 to 20 mins. Remove and gently peel off the fake nails. If its still quite hard, soak them for a little longer then try again. Don’t force off the nails or you will damage your real ones.

Wash your hands thoroughly after this, and if there is any nail glue left, use a buffer to get rid of it. Be gentle to avoid causing damage though. Apply hand moisturiser and massage in well, so that any moisture lost in the removal process will be put back into your skin.
