Selling On EBay: When Not To End Your Auction

They are just pleased to have written an item title and description, somehow find a photo of the item, and cobble together information as to the best category to list and send in the item. However the time that the auction ends is an important thing to think about. For instance, if it ends at a time when very few people are online then the chances of getting last minutes bidders inflating the value of your goods diminishes greatly. Therefore make sure that your item does not end on a Friday morning - that's because eBay maintenance to the site often happens during this period and therefore it might not be available! Also if there is a major event - for instance a World Cup football match or other major occasion - during the time your listing is due to end, don't be surprised if no one notices it!
