Stopping Acne: What Doesn't Work
| Beauty : Spots And Acne The first thing to say is that whilst there are many remedies that might work to get rid of acne, there are some that definitely don't work! Some people think that using very hot water for instance will almost burn the spot off or dry it out and make it go. However the fact is that something very hot will simply irritate the effective area and will not by itself help at all. Similarly certain sorts of soap are not very good at stopping acne; indeed they are general face cleansers and not really aimed at acne.
