Successful Networking: Create A Database
Career : Business Networking Another useful tip to make the most from your networking activities is to take a little time to create a database. This is more about being functional than fancy and it need not take up a great deal of time. Simply log down in the database some useful information about people in your network: where you met them, and when you last met them, name and surname the job they do and their contact details. Some people even take the time to log down their hobbies and interests. The key is then to use this information to stay in touch regularly and to try to build good relationships with them. People are only effective network members if you meet up with them at least a couple of times a year, in the main - therefore try to make the time for the more important members of your network and you will both hopefully reap the rewards in the longer term.
