Things To Do In London

Travel : Destinations

If you are visiting London as a tourist then you are sure to have a great time. There are many things to do and see and can cater for almost any cultural experience that you care to imagine.

There are many museums and galleries, for instance the Tate, the Tate Modern, the National Gallery and the British Museum, Victoria and Albert, Science and Natural History Museum. That should be enough for getting on with!

In terms of relaxing walks, walking along the banks of the Thames can be great fun. Particularly the South Bank provides an attractive walk, and you can stop at one of the many restaurants, bars or cafes on the way, as you walk up from Westmister as far as you wish!

There are many lovely parks around which are worth a visit, and Hyde Park is definitely worth a visit.

If you are into music or theatre then why not catch a show and be sure to visit Leicester Square and Covent Garden for a day, taking in all the sights, scenes and sounds.

Be sure to visit St Pauls Cathedral, if you are into politics or not then take a look at Parliament; and a great way to get a good view of the city on a sunny day is through the Millenium Eye on the South Bank, not far opposite Parliament.
