How To Treat Tennis Elbow

Sport : Tennis

Probably the best treatment for tennis elbow is simply rest from the activity that was causing the problems and the pain - which may and often may not be, tennis itself.

If inflammation occurs of course practical steps include using ice packs or even some sort of medication to help reduce the inflammation that has occurred.

There is also the practical option of physiotherapy too.

Usually tennis elbow if you take some steps to stop the frequency of the actions that were causing the problem will not last for more than a year.

If you play tennis and have tennis elbow there are several things you can do to help prevent re-occurance. For instance there are splints, braces and supports of various shapes and sizes you can wear whilst playing tennis that are designed to help stop you developing tennis elbow or help you if you have it.
