Understanding People At Work: Supporters

Career : Your Career Values

Supporters are one of the four main classes of people that you may come across at work.

These are people who are very much secondary in the background and are happy to play second fiddle.

They don't like to come up with their own ideas, due to lack of ideas or simply lack of confidence.

They will often tend to toe the party line and go with the majority decision, or support someone else who is particularly forceful in their views.

They like the certainty and comfort of a hierarchy and knowing exactly what they have to do. They are very comfortable with taking orders from those above them in the pecking order.
