How To View A Fresco
| Hobbies : Art If you go to old Churches or Cathedrals, then you will no doubt see lots of frescoes throughout the churches, adding decoration and colour. These will usually depict bibical scenes, and as such may be full of people. However you should pay close attention to crowd figures, those that blend in and those that are a little more prominent. Because a little known fact is that the artists often painted eminent citizens subtlely into the crowds of their paintings. In that picture, therefore that person might become a witness to a miracle or some other dramatic Biblical event. It is interesting to look at Renaissance frescoes and wonder just who the people are - made up, or real people of the day who have their own bit of immortality.
