Web Browser Security Tips

Computing : Online Security

To stay secure whilst you are surfing the internet, you should set the zones in your web browser to the highest level of security.

This means that when you visit most sites you will get a message asking if you are sure that you want to connect as it cannot verify the sites credentials, or similar.

When you get the browser by default the security will probably be set to medium which means that it is not as secure as it could be, so if you worry about this sort of thing then definitely go for the higher setting, just remember you will frequently get asked questions by your web browser as a result!
