Work From Home Scams: The Information Product

Jobs : Starting A Home Business

How many millions of adverts for information products that offer to change your life do you see?

Whether they are adverts for printed books through the post (I read this book and became a millionaire working a day from home each month) or on the internet (read this book and create a multi-million pound website by yesterday), there are millions of these things out there.

Why do they work? Because people WANT to believe that they are true as they offer a way out - from a job they don't like, or a commute to work that they don't like - some negative feeling.

The information product is something you should avoid like the plague, and here's why:

the difficult thing with any business is the ACTION, it is actually DOING something.

Let's take an example from the world of education: you can be given a textbook that tells you everything you need to know about passing a math exam. But the book is not enough - you need practice, to ask questions, and have it explained.

That's where TEACHERS come in - and school - if school were like an information product you would simply be sent a massive pile of books to read and be examined a few years later.

As we said, ACTION is the key to making money - having a book that tells you a METHOD of how to make money is great, but you need to know HOW to apply the method and have the skills to do so, which no book can give you.

Bottom line: avoid information products.
