How To Write Emails

Business : Running Your Business

In business, you should write emails in a different manner to you might write a personal email.

People are still worse reading off a screen than in print, and seem to always want to scan read on the screen, with no patience to read word for word.

Therefore you should ensure that you keep emails short and to the point, no waffle, and plenty of paragraphs (white space) to aid the eye.

If you need to make several points consider using a simple bullet point list to make it easier for the eye to take in.
