Finding hammy the Hamster
I woke up yesterday and find my hamster cage opened. I had to go to work so I only started looking for it in the evening when I came back. I've searched everywhere in the bedroom as that's where the cage is. I also searched the leaving room and the kitchen with no success. Can an hamster climb? If yes how high should I search? I haven't tried to trap it with food because I've got a dog (Jack Russel) in the house. What do I do? Please help.

Hi, my hamster has escaped too, dont worry im using the bucket trap and i have a dog (rottwieller) just put the dog in a seperate part of the room and sit in the dark and listen, if you hear anything quitely walk over to where you heard it and slowly have a look. by the way yes hamsters can climb very well. but do not panic because they only climb if the surface is wruff or something like stairs lead them too the ledge. good luck.
