Food Hormones and Spots

Hello, any help on the following would be greatly appreciated.

I have been told the type's of food you eat can cause different reactions in your body. One being the increase of hormones due to an increasing ammount of fat intake. Hormones are one of the things that affect spots so just wondering if that's true?

Would also like to know if anyone has managed to solve a problem i am currently faced with. I have very oily skin, the oils on m face come back time after time day by day no matter how many times i wash them. Lately i have had a larger number of spots than usual, mostly around my forehead and inbetween my eyebrows. Have tried the odd so called 'GUARANTEED TO WORK REMEDY' but no luck so far :). Clearasil which was recomeneded to me by some close friends is a terrible idea for anyone else with oily skin. It may dry my skin out for about 5 minutes, but for some reason (well, not really an unknown one..) my body see's it as necessary to drench my face in oil. I then wake up with more due to the 'spot festering' conditions. Get in there.

Any advise or tips would be much obliged, cheers anyway.
