Feedback is the name given to the business process (usually) where you tell someone how they performed.
The purpose of a feedback session is to help someone to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
However the receiver is often sensitive and takes it as criticism.
The giver of feedback is also often not skilled at giving feedback and therefore it can do more harm than good.
If giving feedback you should frame it in a positive manner in terms of trying to improve performance rather than just stating what went badly.
