How to make fertiliser

i want to make my own organic fertilizer, but i dont know what to do. i already started a small amount. i add gravel in it. is that okey? i dont know the process.

To make your own nutritious fertiliser type material for the garden simply store all your organic waste in a compost bin.

After a year or two it will have decomposed into a really rich compost that you can use to fertilise effectively your plants.
