How to Make Tennis Balls Last Longer

I play tennis with my friends every Sun and we all play OK. I just keep the tennis ball in my bag for next Sun's game. I would like to know what is the best way to keep them so I can maintain their highest performance (or slow down the loss of bounce) ? Store in a vacuum plastice bag ? Any suggestions ?

Good question.

Store them away from heat and light, the best method in fact may be to put them back in the can that they came in and put in as cool a place as possible which will slow down the loss of pressure.
