How To Clean A Bird Cage

Here's what you should look to do: - first, of course, take the bird from the cage and place somewhere out of harms way, e.g. not near an open windo! - remove any objects from the cage - carefully turn cage over the refuse bin and shake - wash in warm water, and use a bird-friendly cleaner to scrub - rinse again and remove excess water - dry the cage, then replace the toys and so on, making sure they have been cleaned individually if needed
