CV Skills: Tailor The CV For Each Job
Career : CV One simple thing that most candidates don't do is to tailor their CV slightly for each job they apply for. A good CV will have at the top in bold a quick summary of who you are, and perhaps a key skills list bullet pointed beneath that. If you use these two excellent techniques on your CV, then be sure to tweak them for each job that you go for. Match the key skills list to those that are required in the job itself, and also highlight the key words they are looking for in your bold summary of yourself at the top. You can even re-write the achievements in your most recent two jobs to highlight the skills that they are after: for instance to highlight leadership skills or project management skills or creativity, as is relevant to the particular job.
