There are loads of great attractions in the UK that are free and perfect for family days out.

Big Pit National Mining Museum is a real coal mine situated in Wales. Tours can be given to the public.

Cycling in Bristol and Bath is a brilliant day out, as the railway path is 90% traffic free.

Relax at Greenwich Park in London which is the capital's oldest enclosed Royal Park, and has stunning views of The River Thames.

Roskilly's of Cornwall is famous for its yummy organic ice cream which comes in 24 different flavours.

World Museum in Liverpool is a very interesting and educational day out for the family too.

Museum of Childhood in London is the countries largest collection of toys from around the world, old and new.

Nottingham's Sherwood Forest is perfect for a summer's day out where you can go walking, cycling, horse riding, play golf or just generally explore the history of Robin Hood.

National Railway Museum in York is the biggest of its type in the world. Its very educuational and fun for everyone. The British Museum in London is also a great place to go to.

Hadrian’s Wall on the Scottish Borders is a very iconic landmark which is definitely worth checking out.
