How To Find The Job For You

Career : Job Search

Notice the key words at the end of the title - "for you". Anyone can find a job of some sort, but what's the point if it's not what you are after?

The first step to finding a job you like is to work out what sort of job you want.

It sounds obvious, but time and again people drift into a new job, whether the first job or as a reaction to moving or being displaced.

First off, therefore, you need to know what you want to do. Write a list of skills, interests and abilities, then pick fields that will enable you to practice those skills.

You may consider going on a career training program if you really are serious.
