How To Get A Job On Leaving University

Education : University

It can be daunting getting a decent job straight out of university, particularly if your degree subject does not lead obviously into a particular line of work.

It can be tempting to leave finding a job until you graduate, but one of the best times to find a graduate job is on the so-called milkround, when all the employers visit universities looking to recruit the top talent that may be on offer.

At this stage you can apply to many companies which will often interview in the city you are in, a convenient way as they come to you rather than vice versa.

If you leave it until after university then not only is money instantly a factor but you may find more pressure on yourself to find work quickly and you might settle for a limiting job where a little more patience would reward you with something that you would find a lot more fulfilling.
