How To Improve Batters Reactions
| Sport : Baseball The batter needs to be able to respond quickly to the game situation, the brief they are given, and match conditions. One way to get them to practice processing information quickly and responding accordingly is with this simple drill. Paint several baseballs a few different colours. The pitcher picks a ball (hidden from batter) then calls out a colour. The batter can only hit the ball if it is the colour mentioned. This is a useful way to develop speed of thought which is a key skill for any good quality batter.
