| Education : University One of the best things when going for a job as a graduate is that all candidates start on an even keel. Unlike the world of work, they are not looking for actual experience and delivery. They are rather measuring POTENTIAL. And this is where you can really stand out from the crowd, as having good qualifications and interviewing well are two totally separate things. Many graduates are quite nervous when it comes to interview - the stakes are high, and it's outside of their comfort zone - not like sitting down and writing an essay in the library which they know how to do. The nerves translate to lack of confidence, which is the one thing that the interviewer will be looking for above all else. Bottom line: practice being confident and display a confident manner at interview and you will stand yourself in great stead for the job.
