Lighten Freckles And Skin Damage

If you want to lighten or avoid spots, freckles and skin damage, here's how.

Use sun tan lotion when you go out in the sun so you don't burn or tan much. Use at least at SPF 15 every morning after washing your face. It will prevent premature ageing as well so is worth protecting while you are young. Don't forget to apply to your hands as well.

Exfoliate once a week to remove dead skin cells which will also brighten up your skin. Use face masks to hydrate it. Do this once a week too. Use one tablespoon of each of the following ingredients: sandalwood paste, lemon juice, tomato juice, and cucumber juice. Mix until they form a paste. Spread it on your face and wait until dry. Rinse and moisturise for a natural looking glow.

Licorice extract contains glabridin, which acts as a natural skin whitener. Add a thin layer of it every morning and evening, after you wash your face but before you moisturise. You can find this at health food stores or online. Remember to store the bottle in a cool, dark place so it stays fresh, and always test a small patch before hand incase of allergies.
