How To Make An Advent Calendar
| Religion And Culture : Presents Whilst you can buy an advent calendar in the shops, it is great fun and quite simple to make one too. All you need is two pieces of card, and adult supervision if you are young as you will need to use scissors to cut the doors! The first step is to draw 24 small pictures on the bottom piece of card, all of a similar size. These will correspond to the 24 doors you open. Once done, place the second piece of card on top, and mark the areas that will need to turned into doors. Then (with adult help if necessary) cut three sides of the card to form a hinged door for each of the 24 pictures. Once done, push the mini doors back down flat to the card. Finally, glue the outsides of the bottom piece of card, and place the card with the doors on top. And there you have it, your advent calendar! If you like you can decorate the top piece of card too if it was plain, or paint with some colourful paint.
