Here are some food nutrition tips in order to keep you and your family healthy.

Reducing your portion sizes at meal times can be really easy and a quick way to cut calorie intakes. Eat with the children, and use the same size plate as they do (if small) then you wont fill it up so much.

Feel free to eat as much fruit and veg as you want, whether its raw, or cooked. However, raw is better for you because it needs more chewing which releases signals to the brain. They are usually low calorie and help bulk up your stomach, making you feel fuller. They have a slow release of sugars which reduce hunger pangs.

Remember not to cut back on the protein as it helps to repair our bodies and also makes us feel full up for longer. Eggs are a great food to stock up on and dont take a long time to cook. Add them to your breakfast, or a sandwich at lunch time. Otherwise try bacon, halm or smoked salmon.
