Part 1e: The Interviewers First Impression

Jobs : Successful Job Search Interview Process

In the interview itself, be prepared to shake the interviewer's hand.

Also remember to smile; smile as you go in and smile as much as possible during the interview - though of course try not to be too forced in your joviality.

Also, don't overdo the laughter - some people get naturally giggly when they are nervous, and whilst it's great to laugh, overdoing this can irritate some interviewers.

When it comes to sitting own, wait to be told to be seated, don't just take a seat yourself.

Although this may appear antiquated, it is good interview practice, and if you just sit down then it may well be noted mentally by the interview - it is all part of creating a good impression for yourself.
