Snoring Has Been Known To Cause Divorces.

Doc says:

The purpose of going to bed is to sleep like a log. Soon after hitting the sheets you hear snoring. So your awakened suddenly.
Most snorers sleep on their backs.
Snoring is often caused by gravity acting on loose tissue in the upper airway.
When you lie on your back the tissue on your tongue, falls into your throat and obstructs your airway,
Excess weight and night time drinking are commonly associated with snoring.
My best advice is to lose weight, and don?t drink, if you don?t want to snore.

Forget Sleeping Pills And Tranquilizers.
These include antihistamines, and allergy medicines. If you must take one, talk to your doctor. He can suggest one that has less sedating effects.
Try to sleep on your side or stomach.
Ladies You can help out here. Sew a tennis ball in the back of your hubby?s pajama top. Then when he tries to roll over on his back, he will roll back on his side.

Get More Sleep.
A lack of sleep can cause snoring. Try to go to bed one hour earlier, or get up later.

Sleep On A Firm Mattress.
If your mattress is soft, or saggy it?s time for a new one. A flat firm mattress helps keep your neck straight, and reduces obstructions in your airway. Your best bet is to get an adjustable bed that raises the torso.
But a lot of people can?t afford these. You could also put some bricks, or blocks of wood under your head board. to raise the front of the bed.

Add Pillows.
By placing extra pillows under your head it will change your sleeping angle.
Three pillows are even better than two.

Or Forget All Pillows.
The pillows need to adjust. your entire torso angle to bring you higher. If they elevate only your neck, you?re better off without any.

Stop The Smoke- And Stop The Snore.
If you smoke, and snore the smoking has to stop. Smoking causes changes in the tissue of your respiratory system, that can contribute to snoring. This demon weed increases congestion in your nose and throat and upper air passages. And it reduces oxygen uptake by the lungs.

Get Exercising.
People who exercise regularly are much less likely, to form congestion in the upper respiratory tract. Regular aerobic exercise improves cardiovascular health, and strengthens overall breathing, and lung capacity. This may off set problems that lead to snoring.


NO EXERCISE BEFORE BEDTIME. IT CAN LEAVE THE BODY TOO CHARGED UP TO SLEEP.
