Should You Pay For Interview Training?

Career : Interviews

Many companies offer interview training these days, whereby you typically attend a half day event, usually one on one, and are taken through the basics of body language, how to present yourself, and how to answer questions in an interview to present yourself in the best light.

However, these events can be expensive, particularly if you are out of work.

These services work best for those who are IN work but are looking to take the next step, at a high level. If you are going for a job earning a lot of money, around $100,000 or more, then it is worth paying a fair sum for interview training, as the skills you learn can help earn you a lot more money.

However, for those looking for a standard job, there is not so much to gain from these events so think carefully before paying for such a course.
