| Self Development : Confidence Confidence: you may be confident, but one of the biggest tests can be in talking to a large audience of people. That really does require a lot of confidence! So what can you perhaps do to increase your performance in this sort of occasion? Well, the best method is to ensure that you are confident in your notes, so you can read off your speech and therefore never lose your place. Use a system of 7 x 9 cards. Write spaced out in black and perhaps in capital letters too as this is easier to read. Ensure that you underline the key words in red to add emphasis when you speak. For added readability you could write each paragraph in alternating colours.
