How To Speed Up Plant Growth

Gardening : Growing Plants

If you want to help give your plants the best chance of growing more quickly, then use a special soil type.

This soil is known as vermiculite and whilst it costs a fair amount is useful in small quantities to speed up plant growth.

It works quite simply, as follows: put a thin layer on top of the seeds you plant. It is much better at letting light through than ordinary soil, being lighter and less dense and therefore the result is that it can speed up the growing of the plants in their early stages as they get more light.
