The EBay Toolbar: Real Or Fake Site
| Money : EBay If you want to be sure whether a site really is eBay or not, then you could consider installing the eBay toolbar. This will turn red if the site is known to be a spoof site. It will always be green on a true eBay site and is therefore one way that you might like to consider if you are paranoid about knowing that you are on the real site or not! Note that this will also turn green if you are on a genuine Paypal site - which is itself the subject of scams from time to time.
