These are as follows: - positive - negative - neutral eBay always asks you to consider carefully before posting negative feedback. Why is this? Because it can adversely damage the ability of an individual to sell on the site. If you do give negative feedback it is recommended that you do so for the right reasons - i.e. a poor experience, a product not matching expectations and so on. If it is a day late getting to you, that is probably not reason enough to give negative feedback. When you are viewing someone's profile with a view to buy, do be wary if they have more than a couple of negative feedbacks. The ratio of negative to positive is also important. Ideally you want someone with at least 10 positives to every negative.
