Cleaning your teeth with a toothbrush and paste is something that should ideally be done a couple of times a day in order to protect your teeth and gums from infection and decay.
When you brush, ensure that the brush is held at a slight angle to the gums, and that you use about a pea sized amount of toothpaste.
Also remember to use the toothbrush to clean the back of your teeth too, and ensure that you clean all your teeth - that means those at the back and in hard to reach places too... you may need to use your finger to pull out your cheek a little in order to do this.
