Your Personality And Your Job

Jobs : Job Search

I've seen a lot of people who end up with jobs they detest. And I've met even more people who have no idea what kind of job would be right for them.

In order to find the right job, there has to be the right fit. It's like shopping for shoes, we have to buy shoes to wear. But I for one, don't just go out and buy ANY kind of shoe. I'm more the comfortable sneakers type or the flat slip-ons type.

This purchase exhibits my personality... and same goes for jobs.

To find the right job is to determine who you are, what you want to be, and what you want to do. Some people take years to figure that out. I was told though, that was what COLLEGE was for.

So take a second to think...

1. Do you want to earn a lot of money?
2. Do you like talking to people?
3. Do you thrive on pressure?

If the answer is yes to the above questions, you might just be a Sales person. Some people may want to work around food, while others would prefer the academe, and still others would like to travel.

Same goes for other kinds of jobs. You start with yourself and NOT what's out there.

Loving or even just enjoying what you do will make you even better at it.
