If you have credit card debt pay it off now

Yes, in these days of zero interest it makes even less sense to have savings earning, well, nothing, whilst you have credit cards where you only pay off the minimum balance.

You must clear any credit card debts that you have as quickly as possible, even if it means dipping into your savings.

Many people are sentimental and don't want to touch their savings, however if you have debts at still high rates like you do on a credit card then it only makes sense to do one thing - pay it off as quickly as you can... it may reduce your savings in the short term but that is an artificial hit, in the long run you will be much better off!
