How To Choose A Car Repair Shop

Hobbies : Cars And Motoring

When getting your car repaired, you will need to choose the place to get the repairs done carefully.

Note that some manufacturers for instance will say that your warranty or guarantee is only valid if you use approved services only (usually those affiliated to a particular car company!)

Often a recommendation from a friend will be the best way to find somewhere suitable; also be sure to check the complaint record against that shop with your state or local consumer protection office.

Finally ensure that work only begins when you are happy with it, don't just let them get on with it and then give you the bill afterwards.

Also never sign something blank ready for them to fill in.

Keep a record of your conversation and all promises in writing.
