It could be worth taking the plunge, in other words! You will need advanced diving skills, you must be comfortable and confident underwater and remain calm when down for extended periods of time. You will need to be able to think on your feet, make decisions quickly, and be confident working on your own as well as part of a team. Work may be irregular, but experienced divers with proven ability can be in demand.
