One of the best tips that anyone on an exercise program can take on board is the sheer importance of water to achieving success.
The recommended intake is about 8 medium sized glasses a day, but note that you can happily consume more than this if you wish - treat the 8 glasses as a minimum.
So, what's so good about water? Well, put simply, your body is mainly water. Therefore it needs lots of it to function, and many bodily processes are impaired by lack of water.
Therefore you should ensure you drink it often. It can also help with better skin, stops dehydration and of course contains none of the nasty extras that you would have if you live off a diet of coffee and soft drinks normally!
