The key is to convince the audience that they need what you have to offer. You do this through explaining clearly the benefits of the product: what it will do for your audience and therefore why it should be so attractive to them that they need it if not just want it. Remember that you want them ideally to come to you and certainly never give the hard sell. Identify what your product can do for them in terms of time saving, ease of use, access to information and so on. So any good marketing strategy should be based on selling on the benefits never on the features - advantages is acceptable but selling on benefits is best and will result in the most sales for you.
