How To Put In Contact Lenses

Health And Fitness : Top Health Tips

It is very important to wash your hands thoroughly before putting in contact lenses, otherwise you could end up with an irritation or an infection in your eye. Allow them to air dry otherwise using a towel may cause fibres to transfer onto your hands, and this will cause problems. Make sure you are in a clean environment where you wont get any disturbances from people, especially if its your first time using contact lenses.

Open the right eye lens case and using your index finger, scoop it out. Rinse it carefully with some solution. Make sure it is the right side facing out and that the edge should curve inwards.

Lift up the lens to your eye and use your middle finger to pull down your lower eye lid. Place it in your eye and release your lid. Blink so it adjusts to the lens.

Repeat these steps for your left eye, then clean out the contact case and refill it with fresh solution. Wash and dry your hands afterwards, and try to avoid rubbing your eyes throughout the day.
