The Truth About Jogging And Running
Health And Fitness : Running Technique Many people for whatever reason seem to have the strange idea that they can't run, or can't jog. But if you are able to put one foot in front of the other, then you are capable of jogging and running. There is no need to be a so-called natural athlete to start jogging, and you don't need to be too ambitious when you start either, the important thing is to try it and see if you like it. Now it might be that you do try it and don't like it which of course is fine, not everyone likes every sort of different exercise that there is. Others are scared to go running because there is a general perception that it is harsh on the body and places a lot of strain on several body parts and joints, leading to potential problems. However, a lot of injuries that result from jogging either come from bad technique on behalf of the jogger, or from not having the correct running equipment - typically not having the right sort of running shoe for them. And infact the reputation for jogging being really bad for the body is generally not a fair one anyway.
