Ways To Feel Full, Not Fat

Health And Fitness : Weight Loss

If you eat alone, you tend to eat less as you're not being distracted.

If you smell and chew your food when you eat it switches on a signal in your brain telling you to be less hungry, and also some are released if you chew your food for longer.

The more air and water in food, the more it will fill you up, so have a soup instead of a pasty and plain popcorn instead of crisps for example.
Wait for time afterwards if you eat a meal with high fat content as it can take longer for a sense of fullness to arrive.

Get enough sleep as it will decrease appetite.

Drink water before a meal as this will tend to fill you up more so you wont need to eat as much. It is calorie free too!

Use a smaller plate as you will put less food on it so you can get the satisfaction of having a clean plate without being forced to eat so much to finish it. It will probably save your food bills slightly too so is worth a go.

Eat slowly and dont rush. Choose fiddly foods such as kebabs or corn on the cob so you have to take more time.

Eating an apple before each meal can also help you feel more full. The best time is 20 mins before a meal.

Try to eat natural, healthy foods instead of processed manufactured ones.
