How do I clean red and black face paint off of a beige sofa (not leather)?

Face paint that sounds like that would be very hard to get off as it is a bright colour and the small pigment molecules can get quickly embedded into any material.
You should probably contact the manufacturer to see how they recommend cleaning that stain.
