How does homeostasis work to keep acceptable levels when exerciseing
Question asked by: dan luty
Asked on: 02 Nov 2010
Body temperature rises when doing exercise due to the heat that is generated by the movement and exertions.
Therefore homeostasis helps keep the body cool for instance by increasing sweating to cool the body by evaporation and sending blood nearer the skin to help with cooling which can cause redness often associated with vigorous exercise.
