Is 26 a multiple of 6?
Question asked by: cati25
Asked on: 21 Mar 2009
No, it is not: the multiples are in the six times table and are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30
As you can see it goes straight from 24 to 30 and this means that 26 is not a multiple of 6.
To prove it divide on the calculator and you will see that you get a non-integer answer.
