Why infinite number of images are not seen in parallel mirrors
Question asked by: rounak

The mirrors simply reflect the light that is coming into them back out. If they align exactly then the light goes back and forth but not all photons of light strike at the same angle and the paths cannot be predicted 100%. Many photons escape hence even if you look at two mirrors that are facing each other you will still see an image.
